- 3213 Community CPR
This course will train individuals to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in infants, children and adults. Participants will practice on adult, child and infant manikins in the course.
Prerequisite: None
3218 Community First Aid and Safety
This course will train individuals and families to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to r and care for life-threatening emergencies, such as respiratory or cardiac problems, sudden illness or injuries to infants, children or adults. First aid skills, as well as CPR skills for infants, children and adults will be practiced.
Prerequisites: None
Certificate: Community CPR valid for one year and Community First Aid and Safety valid for three years.
* Meets state requirements for safety training for foster parents.
3240 First Aid Basics
First Aid Basics is a dynamic, efficient, and effective course for those who want first aid training without the CPR component. This course covers:
* bleeding
* muscle and bone injuries
* sudden illness
* checking an unconscious victim
* shock
* poisoning
* heat and cold emergencies
* calling 9-1-1
* and much more!
